Waiting on 2014: An Author I've Enjoyed In The Past - I'll Pick Up Their Next Book: USA

2014 just needs to hurry up, right? I mean, I can't even express my excitement for some of the releases that will be out next year!!

So what am I waiting on? I have to admit they are mostly romance and dystopian novels -- but these are two of my favourite genres.

I shall tell you ;)
January:
Masquerade by Nyrae Dawn (Expected publication: January 7th 2014 - USA, Forever)

After I finished reading Facade, which is the second book in the Games series, I am so amazed by the way Dawn is able to write and keep me constantly on my toes!

February:
Cress by Marissa Meyer (Expected publication: February 6th 2014 - UK, Puffin)

I don't think I need to say much about this book. I can't wait to see how they all meet!

Into the Still Blue by Veronica Rossi (Expected publication: February 6th 2014 - UK, ATOM)

Can't wait to finish this trilogy!! I wish this series got more recognition.

March:
Panic by Lauren Oliver (Expected publication: March 4th 2014 - UK, Hodder & Stoughton Ltd)

Another Lauren Oliver book! I adore Oliver's descriptions and all the action in the books she writes. No doubt, high expectations from this one.

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover (Expected publication: March 18th 2014 - USA, Atria Books)

Nothing but happiness fills me when I read Hoover's books and with the Griffin Peterson tracks that run along this book, I'm sure we're in for a treat.

Let the Storm Break by Shannon Messenger (Expected publication: March 4th 2014 - USA, Simon Pulse)

Devoured Let the Sky Fall in one day. I think it'll be the same with this one when I get my hands on it!

April:
What I Thought Was True by Huntley Fitzpatrick (Expected publication: April 15th 2014 - USA, Dial Books for Young Readers)

*Happy Dance* My Life Next Door is one of my favourite books - I really can't wait to see what Fitzpatrick's second book has in store for us all :)

 May:
Isla and the Happily Ever After by Stephanie Perkins (2014 - USA)

If you haven't read any Stephanie Perkins, please pick up her other books so you can read this one! Such cute books. Can't wait to meet our next swoon-worthy male and female lead.

Wow, all books by author's from America. This is what always happens with me.

But anyway, are you waiting on any of the books above? What other books are you waiting on?

  1. I suck. I haven't read any of Stephanie Perkin's books despite the rave reviews everywhere. I am going to have to pick one up next year because I feel like I'm missing out big time. Good thing they're being published over here in the UK so I should hopefully be able to get my hands on a copy! Let the Storm Break and What I Thought Was True have such gorgeous covers! I've heard good things about both authors so will have to check out their books soon too.

I'm personally looking forward to Trouble by Non Pratt, To All the Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han and Killing Butterflies by M. Anjelais!

Fab post, Sabrina! Have a lovely Xmas and New Year!
